The AR Lab · Prompt Workshop

One Shot

One prompt. One submission. No follow-ups, no edits, no retries. You describe a game in words, the AI builds it in one go, and your description is shown beside your game in the gallery for everyone to read. The only thing you control is what you write — so make every word count.

New to this? Three worked examples are in the Examples tab — play the builds and read the prompts that produced them before you write yours.

The game — must have

Seven things every game needs. The judges will check for these.

  1. 01
An endless runner Think the Chrome dinosaur game: obstacles keep coming, you jump over them, it only ends when you're hit.
  2. 02
Spacebar is the only input No other keys. No mouse.
  3. 03
Hold longer to jump higher A quick tap gives a short hop. Holding the key gives a full jump.
  4. 04
It gets harder the longer you survive How is up to you.
  5. 05
Start screen → play → game over screen with your score
  6. 06
Play again from the game over screen Each new run starts completely fresh — nothing carries over.
  7. 07
No saved high scores The score lives only while the page is open.

Yours to decide

Everything else is up to you — this is where the games differ.

  • theme
  • setting
  • art direction
  • colour
  • what the player is
  • jump physics
  • game feel
  • difficulty curve
  • obstacle patterns
  • feedback and juice
  • sound
  • pause
  • anything else

How your game gets built

What happens after you press Submit.

  • The AI writes the whole game in one go. It takes a few minutes, and you watch it work in real time.
  • Everything is made from scratch. Your game can't use pictures, sounds, or fonts from the internet — the AI draws all the art and creates all the sound itself. Describe the look and sound you want; it will make them.
  • Nothing is saved between plays. That's why high scores only last while the page is open.
